My doctor, a naturopath, has been treating lyme for quite a long time. He's always on the lookout for effective treatment. Recently he was introduced to this machine.. It's light years ahead of previous UVL treatments of the blood, which he had been doing along with ozone therapy. He told me that there are many reports of cure of chronic Lyme with this, as well as HIV.

He just this past week purchased 2 machines and my neighbor is receiving treatment gratis for his chronic lyme. I plan on getting a treatment maybe in November. I had a dark field live blood analysis done last week and my blood now looks pretty good but I have some minor health issues I'd like to take care of. Anyway, he says that this is the single most powerful treatment you can do for preventative medicine with a treatment recommended every 4 to 6 months to keep in good shape.

Heres the website. click on physician to get to the details.

So my friend has now had 3 treatments with the new UVL system.

Day before yesterday he went on a hike and did 10 miles....

I'd say that is some significant progress considering how terribly sick he was a couple of weeks ago. He came by yesterday and he looks really well. All the allergies are gone also... his allergies were so terrible during this bout of lyme, his skin was red all over, swollen face and hugely sensitive to all light... all gone now. No symptoms of lyme.

Doc says that the severeness of the allergies are likely due to the depressed immune system from the lyme.

When he first went to the doc this time they looked at his blood with dark field live blood analysis and he said he had never seen so many spirochetes... even compared to the first time he went down with lyme over 6 years ago.... so clearly this UVL has really helped him....

now if we can only get him to be proactive enough so that he doesn't get sick again.... the doc said that he must not let himself go so long if symptoms should arise again.... over the last couple of years I have tried to encourage him to use my rife but he's always too busy, even though its free for him and he has seen it work on me. .. oh well.

I think they may be looking at periodic UVL treatments to keep him well but I will have to double check on that..

a small price to pay for someone who has been dealing with lyme for so long... keeping our fingers crossed that this is the magic bullet for him.

I also missed it or forgot about it ... what are your thoughts on the treatment now? How is your neighbor doing? And have you had any treatments?

My neighbor is doing well enough. As I said he moved far away to Arizona but we remain in contact via phone. Aside from the lyme he had absolutely the worst allergies to pollens etc and thats why he moved. I don't know if he will continue with UVLRx or not but I do know that its available in Arizona. I would if I were him.. it was quite remarkable what it did for him, and did help with the allergies too. .. I never did get one of the treatments as I have been doing really well. Im finding that this is a treatment that is spreading fast. More and more alternative doctors are adding it to their protocols. At about 30,000 for the machine.... doctors are going out on the limb for it.. our local naturaopath purchased two he uses it so much. here is an article on UVL ... of course this new application is much more effective.. this article report is for the old application where they just take a small amount of blood out, UV expose it and put it back in. to learn more see this pdf. http://nebula.wsimg.com/9398755b2f4be305b4f3c1d24e1c8ed1?AccessKeyId=573E12B1E5C6F40ACA00&disposition=0&alloworigin=1

I also have a neighbor who has been sick for years and is using this UVL treatment.

She has had amazing results, and is using this as her maintenance protocol. She feels confident that if she is backsliding UVL brings her back a place of wellness.

It is expensive and of course, not covered by insurance.

I hope this may bring some answers for us all.

I wonder, how UVL can kill spirochettes if most are not in the blood? but in the 'other' connective tissues?

I don't doubt the treatment can have good effects.

I'm just wondering if it is doing only the killing of bacteria OR something else!?

Dr. K. always insisted to say that the blood is not where Bb likes to live...

I wondered the same thing, Brussels and have been told that the UV does something to the blood that will then affect the microbes once the blood travels to the tissues.

Sorry I'm not explaining it very well; I didn't understand it myself.

I am now on my 5th of a 10 treatment course with UVBI. The "Cocktail" includes Ozone. Before we started the muscles in my legs hurt so bad that it was approaching disability. I'm back working full days in a very busy and challenging office environment. Treatments cost $175 each and are well worth it to me.

Skeeter-B, it could be just a worsening of symptoms before getting better.

When toxins move, I get AWFUL symptoms.

How many times have you done the UVBI?

Do you take ozone every time, parallel to the UV??

Glad to hear that this treatment is helping some people. Just wondering how often do people usually do the treatments? Is it a once a week treatment or more or less frequent then that?

--------------------
Sick since 10/2001. Tested CDC positive for Lyme 10/2008 through Quest and Igenex. Started treatment 1/2009 with LLMD. Lyme, Erichilosis, Chlamydophila Pneumoniae, Q Fever, Strep Syndrome and probably a few others I am forgetting.

I tried the UVL one time about 3 weeks ago. I was a little more relaxed afterward but did not experience much difference. However, I may not have an active case of Lyme any more since and may be dealing with ongoing chronic symptoms.

However, my son has had about 15 sessions over the last 7 months. He has Lyme and experiences a very strong herx after each session. Since he is in collage about 180 mines away he gets about 2 sessions a month.

After the session he sleeps for about 4 hours the same day. The next day he has more energy and his thinking is much clearer. We do not know if we are just knocking it down significantly or just holding it off for a while. He is also taking C Silver and Cats Claw along with other non bacteria killing supplements.

To see where he was I had him do a rife session before he went back to school (the UVL machine was being sent back for a newer model). We put the program that uses a series of Lyme frequencies and he herxed significantly the following day.

So I think the UVL hits the bacteria in the blood and probably helps with candida but I do not know how effective it is long term. He will continue treatments once the new machine is in place. We
pay 150/session.

All the Best,

Matt H
