I am waiting to hear back from LLMD office...thanks to all who helped with this.

Because I have taken such a downturn with fatigue (and I know from reading it is a major part of Lyme and I suffered with it off and on) my husband was wondering if it might be an allergic response to oak pollen?

I have never had an allergy before but also never had Lyme before. We moved in December and have a huge oak tree in out yard.

He was wondering if maybe my fatigue is due to my body not producing normal allergic response like sneezing etc. I'm too tired to research this but just woke up and thought I would ask the experts.

If it might be this, should I try a Sudafed to help head pressure?

I would certainly try Sudafed to see if it relieves the head pressure.

This year, many many people are getting very sick with allergies. I believe it is due to the mild winter we had--the trees are making more pollen and making it earlier than usual.

And, since you have moved, there could be new pollens in your new area, so allergy is likely this time of year. Pollen travels for miles with the wind, so you could be reacting to things you can't even see in your yard.

I am totally exhausted this year from seasonal allergies. (I got rid of lyme 12 years ago.) I finally had to go to my primary for help.

He put me on a prescription Clarinex D which is very similar to Claritin D. It has helped me so much! I now have some energy and my terrible headache is gone.

So, try various over the counter meds and see if you can get some relief. Some are just antihistamines. Some are both an antihistamine and a decongestant. I needed both to feel better.
