I don't know how many of you have seen this, but it is excellent and really concise. She must be an excellent clinician!

TNT,

Thanks so much for posting this. I only had five minutes yet will be back. And, even from a few minutes, I can see that EVERYONE could benefit from this even if mental issues are not their concerns. The outline for what's to be covered looks exceptionally comprehensive.

I look forward to getting back to this. I made sure to go ahead and make a handy file page so that I can find this in times to come.

Yes, LisaK, she definitely gives hope! It's all about getting rid of the infections. She personally does not prescribe IV antibiotics, but she does do long term oral antibiotics, in case you are interested in seeing her.

I personally know that nerve damage can be healed because things have gotten better for me the longer I treat successfully.

You will not be able to convince many "general" docs of the connection between infection and mental illness. It's just completely beyond them. Poor creatures.

TNT, but... so... if I don't feel lyme-ee right onw at all and pretty much feel like the disease is remissed, or gone, *and* I have testing now showing ongoing nerve damage in my cspine, and MRI showing some strange things that could be the (other) reason for the same symptoms,

then what do I do with that???? I dn't feel like I need abx. would I just take them and see if things clear up and then that would be the determinant?

I feel my sx are more now from the compression in my brain. whether or not the lyme gave that to me isn't important, is it? if the lyme is gone does it stop? is that how we would know that the lyme is still active?

like- the nerve damage would stop if the lyme was gone, or the intracranial pressure wouldn't be ther any more? or the leaking CSF ?

LisaK, it sounds like you need a good doc like her that is able to make those discernments about what is causing what at this point. I really wonder if you completely got rid of things. But, I don't know.

Maybe it would be a good idea to make an appointment with her.
