I noticed it today. Went to the ER and they didnt know what it was. They took an Xray and its not bone related.
The description on the takehome info I got said "soft tissue prominence". Just said to follow up w/my pcp. She didnt think it was anything serious.

Is it at the base, on the palm side? It's not uncommon to get a ganglion cyst in that location.

Its toward the tip of the finger, but nearer the last knuckle. Someone else posted a similar question and gave this link as what it looked like. Mine is similar to that, though not quite as purple. And its the same spot, same finger, but mine is the right hand.
I was concerned it was vascular. Someone else said it could be die off.

6- This fits in line with the response I just wrote to your other post about legs and feet.

Nerves (and blood vessels) being affected by Bartonella.

If you read this article and look at pictures it may give you some info.

https://sites.google.com/site/floridalyme/tick-borne/bartonella-1/bartonella--hand-pain?pli=1

Hope so!

BTW- I lost nearly all feeling in my feet and legs a long time ago. And I've had those bluish nodules in the past too.

Didn't know why it happened back then. My guess now is the Bartonella- like is explained at the link above.

I'd try homeopathic Ledum palustre 6c (wild rosemary) for that.

Treating the infection is what stops the destruction. I didn't know that then. Wish I had.

Also, to combat the inflammation which was adding to the problems, I take the anti-inflammatory five...

Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Quercetin
Wobenzyme

And one other that I can't think of the name right now. UGH! Will let you know ASAP. Got to find it so I can see the name to remember. Sorry!

6- I also have trouble with Vitamin C and the genetic issues too. Have tried high doses of vitamin C and others in the past and was terrible (before I knew about the genetics)!

The doses for this protocol don't need to be large like most recommend for everything else. All of mine are at the low end of the scale for the reasons you mention. (Save $$ that way too.)

I take the chewable orange flavored Vitamin C tablets from Nature's Bounty (500 mg. with Rose Hips) and do fine with it. Was very concerned I would have troubles too, but thankfully I don't.

Not saying you will be fine too, but possibly could be?

You may try the other ones in the meantime. All are good for their anti-inflammatory properties. Good to ask your doc too.

NOT pushing you to try them, just from experience and because they work so well for me- and I am, or was, thru the roof with inflammation issues. Better now.

Hope you will be soon!

What are the neg effects of too much vit c?

The Wobenzyme looks like its for biofilms? Or Wobenzym N is what I saw when I looked it up.

I'm on other inflamm. stuff I believe, doesnt seem to help me. I wish something would. The neuropathy just seems to get worse. And freaking me out a lot.

I personally feel icky when taking too much Vitamin C, which is one reason I didn't realize it at the time. Hard to tell Lyme icky from other icky.

Wobenzyme N info can be found here. They explain it better than I could.

http://www.wobenzymps.net

Sorry you are having such a hard time and are freaking out. Obviously what you are taking isn't doing the trick.

Might be time to try something different?

I took it when I was a kid, chewables [Razz]

Ok I'll look at that link.

Curcumin helped the bone pain it seemed. Now I have muscle pain and ongoing nerve stuff. I just upped my curcumin dose, and my CBD arrived in the mail yesterday.
