Why is my hubby needing so much salt lately? He was using Celtic Sea salt but just switched to Redmond Real Salt this weekend.
He is taking a mineral supplement.
He's been using Dr Wilson's adrenal supplements for several years.

- Maybe the switch to a different brand indicates it's not as good for him, if that is the only variable.
You beat me to the "adrenal" connection.
Of course, there may be other variables to consider with his routines, habits, diet, etc.
Sounds like maybe he should switch back to CSS and see if that goes back to his normal.
I always wondered as I use Redmond but never studied up on it vs. Celtic. Please let us know if he switches and all goes back to his normal, eh? I have to order more salt next week.
Update for those who may see this in future. I've learned lots about salt, other minerals, etc. and realize that we need much more salt than I used to think - and much more than most doctors think. LymeToo's video below is fabulous.
There are also some doctor authored books on the importance of salt. And Redmond Salt is also a very good brand and source. -

No, the switch of brands changed nothing. He was craving it with the celtic also.
He had just read/heard someone interviewing some talking about Redmond vs. sea salt. They said sea salt is not as good for you anymore because of all the plastics in the oceans.
Redmond is from the land and has been covered by DE which protected it from all the toxins.
