My Dr. gave me Flagyl (for C Diff) and some herbal stuff for lyme and babesia.

My symptoms were dizziness and heart pounding.

I finished Flagyl yesterday noticing all symptoms coming back full force today.

Why could I feel so good on Flagyl and awful when I quit taking it in less than 24 hours?

I've had Lyme long enough to know that you normally feel pretty bad when your killing all this stuff.

Flagyl is showing a very low cure rate for c.diff lately.

It really does a job on your body that is already 'down' with lyme & co.

Please don't let c.diff get ahold. I've been battling it for close to a year now.

Flagyl and a week in hospital didn't help. Months of Vancomycin held symptoms down but I relapsed within a month off it.

When I was put back on Vanco, my hearing started acting up. Finally I was approved for Dificid and that seems to be helping.

Just my 2 cents, you may be healed of c.diff and it's Spring flare or something else. I think it's 2 weeks off antibiotic before you can get a true test for c.diff (false negative before). I pray healing for you.

I had a really hard time with flagyl- had to end up asking for Tindimax. I am relatively assured it did something to my tendons in my feet when thick in the lyme battle and my physical therapist at the time could not understand why the support tendons in my feet as he said -collapsed like a bridge with no support. And he is one of the best in the Southeast. I knew it was the Flagyl- my body did not respond well to it from the get go. Hindsight is always 20 20. Wish I had paid closer attention.

Our bodies are all so different and react differently to different things. To be safe, I would talk to your Doc asap as the heart pounding and dizziness- may need to be examined. Godspeed to you!
