Sorry I've not heard of this activist, so I can't comment on exactly what they were posting or what language was used or why the site was locked. But I do know...
Google also does this, but it is standard procedure for any site, not just targeting Lyme and it is done at random for no apparent reason.
They will review any responses from the creator of the site, however, I've learned that they often delay (or it seems that way) if others get involved and make complaints.
Sometimes it can take a week or more to get it back with no outside interference.

Facebook is in freefall. Since the election they have been moving further and further into content control being pushed by SJW (and other) idiots.
This is a classic case of why you dont get political in business. Anything not conventional enough becomes suspect under the net of company people who dont know what the hell the implications are in each specific area.
They are going to drive Facebook into to the ground, and I will be laughing. Its a silly site for people to put up photos and talk about themselves.
Does that need censors and content control? Only if you're crazy enough and can't handle thoughts that arent yours
(breaking up the post for easier reading for many here)

The recent killing of an 11 month old and suicide of the father streamed live on facebook is causing a lot of pressure on facebook to do a better job of controlling content. In other words, things will likely get worse although I think facebook is trying hard to resist.

I think her pages are up. I happened to have reached her mom! Who referred me on to her daughter's pages.
