I used it a long time ago after my first bout with lyme.
After taking antibiotics for three years, I was off of them but had not yet gained my good bacteria back.
Silly me ate a Tootsie Roll pop loaded with sugar and ended up with a yeast infection in my mouth and on my lips. My lips look like frosted mini-wheats.
My doctor gave me everything under the sun for a month to clear it up but nothing worked.
I contacted my llmd and he prescribed swish and swallow with oregano oil and water. Within a day or two it was gone!
It is a vile substance but it works!
I have the book called The Cure is in the Cupboard by Dr. Cass Ingram. Very interesting book about oregano oil.

- As with anything that is liver or kidney support and most supplement antioxidants:
Be sure to take a couple hours away (both directions of the clock) from any Rx as it could deplete the therapeutic dose of Rx.
Best to keep it out of the bath if there is any degree of urogenital irritation or skin tenderness. Even a drop of this in a bath can cause tender tissue to burn.
For GI tract SAFETY, it's best to use a good solid GEL cap that will not break open until far down in the gut.
Some people can do a very diluted mouth rinse but it's a gamble to swallow it. For some, they do okay to swallow but - for others - it can really burn the esophagus and points beyond, and keeps on burning.
If there is any irritation to the tissue, best to go with a gel cap of top quality.
Take in the middle of a good meal. And then don't lie down for a while.
It can be very helpful in many ways (though some just can't tolerate it, some sure can), just start slow & low.
