It really is. I called several more pharmacies today, and some actually said it is out of stock with their supplier, so at least they checked.

Hi Sicksam Did you try infuserve? That is where I got it. Unless it is a recent thing, I order it there.

Yeah, Infuserve can get it, but I'm hoping I can find a place that will file with my insurance. I do love Infuserve though.
Turns out my insurance company (Aetna) has a specialty pharmacy that might be able to get it for me. I'm gonna try going that route and see where I get.

Finally figured it out. Looks like the 2.4 mu syringes are experiencing a shortage. CVS is able to get the 1.2 mu syringes for me. I'll just have to have two shots per week instead of one.

This is a little crazy but, uh.... I got mine from Mexico. I go to school in San Diego and that's also where my doc is located, and he said that many of his patients cross the border to get it because it's so much cheaper. So I took my passport and walked across the border, found a pharmacy, and gave them my prescription. They wouldn't issue the full year's worth of doses, just half, but that's alright. It's the same stuff, and it cost less than $300 rather than $3000.

Not crazy at all! My doc said he's had patients do that. Gotta do what you gotta do to get well. I wish I had family closer to the border. Right now my insurance is covering all but $100 of my Bicillin cost thankfully though.
