Are you saying that one can only get better by doing keto?
If so, then no. I did horrible on keto. The nausea was extreme. Keto is not gentle on your liver, so if you have detox and liver problems, you might want to stick with lighter foods.

S13, no I am not.

But doing further research I've seen many people that it didn't "cure" their Lyme/Co's but eased the process of treatment and they saw improvement quicker.

It just wasn't attainable for me. I do healthy swaps and am more mindful in my food choices of course.

I'd like to add too in the last 6 months my hormones have been out of whack. Not so pleasant effects I am noticing.

I had these issues as a teen and my former PCP just put me on birth control pills which was just a "band aid". Alot of these issues from what I've read about can be fought with the Keto diet.

I'm trying to figure out if these whacky hormone issues were Bartonella related the whole time?

My next telehealth appt with my LLMD is on 5/3. I can inquire with her about this and possibly my new Ob/Gyn.
