My therapist gave me 50 mg. of this to help with anxiety and getting off of Ativan. Has anyone ever used it for this?

Main-stream doctors LOVE Gabepentin.
Supposedly it can be taken in high doses without the risk of over-dose and is non-addicting. Not sure this is true though. I have seen 3 different neurologists, each scripted me Gaba. It helps helps with nerve pain, relaxation and sleep.

It has many off-label uses.
It helps me to sleep and literally cured me of VERY painful IC bladder. Most doc's prescription are in the 900mg to 1200mg per day range. I could not tolerate those high doses. I stay around 200mg at night as needed.

I think this would help you and it's a very low dose. If not, move on to something else. The secret is to find what's right for your body.
