At my recent Doc's appointment I was screened for depression. It's done by filling out a simple questionnaire called a Patient Health Questionnaire for Depression.

http://www.cqaimh.org/pdf/tool_phq9.pdf

I was told I scored high for depression.
I do not believe I'm depressed but have experienced depressive episodes. Chronic illness is the cause.

I had positive responses to all questions except # 2 and # 6 and # 9.

I'm debating if I want to add another medical provider to my arsenal. I believe lymenet support has been the biggest asset for positivity, gratitude, compassion and patience in dealing with this nightmare.

If you feel you may have depression, please seek out a professional for help. ❤️

I know I deal with depression. It flares when I get worse. Chronic illness is tough that way. Lymenet has been a godsend for me.

I agree getting help for depression is important. I think everyone's route to that help is different.

Sending Hugs BB. It's always nice to know others understand. I find that here.

Our health care professional told me that 80% of depression is caused by lack of omega-3's.
