I tested negative for babesia (not that that means much) and I don't have air hunger or night sweats which are pretty classic babesia.

I'm just wondering if I could have babesia without these classics? I did treat with Mepron for a while, but I didn't react one way or the other to this drug.

I always thought my head issues were Bart, but I'm wondering if they could be babs ..

Just curious on others thoughts.

Do you have any kind of lung issues? I don't have air hunger, but I did have asthma type symptoms that seemed to be related to the babesia. I think I have had a mostly dormant babesia infection for a long time.

My symptoms that I think are babesia:

asthma/ shortness of breath
ice pick headaches
chest/heart pain
dizziness/vertigo.
too hot all the time
night sweats
anxiety attacks/ crazy feeling
ankle and wrist pain

--------------------
chronic Lyme/Bartonella

Inside every sick person is a well person waiting to be freed

YES...

I had Babesia all along but only developed the classic signs years later... such as air hunger...

my first test was negative and my next two were positive. Babesia is hard to detect on a test.

Hmm. Interesting. I do not have any lung issues.

It will be interesting to see if those symptoms come. I'm wondering where my head issues are coming from.

Wonder why mepron didn't do anything...

My LLMD palpates my liver and spleen to see if either or both are enlarged.

When my liver was enlarged, he put me on babesia protocol.

Mepron doesn't always work... babesia is a tough one. Dr H says it is the worst infection he deals with...

I am not saying that is what you have... but I would definitely not rule it out.

sure you can have babesia without any of the classic symptoms, it all depends on how your body responds to it. i had a stiff neck early on but for most of my sickness it was nerve related.
