my neurologist just sent me lab papers that read:

ESR 47 High

Rheumatoid Factor 39 High

Wants me to see a rheumatoid doctor in a month. Is this necessary and is this all part of lyme?

Thanks so much

UGH!!!

Go to www.roadback.org ... Ask them for advice. They treat RA with antibiotics.

All this can go along with lyme / babesia, etc. Best if a good LLMD can advise on whether additional tests might be of help to shine light on if this is caused by lyme / babesia, etc. or might also be other things such as genetics, etc..

Bottom line, though, is that lyme / babesia, etc. must still be assertively & directly addressed thoroughly enough for long enough with various combinations / rotations.

Even if there might be a genetic link, for someone with lyme / TBD, addressing such infections often resolves much. The kinds of anti-oxidants supports as in most liver support is also key, too, for the tissue & processes. Antioxidants help decrease inflammation while infections are being addressed.

The Road Back has helped many. I'm not sure how compatible it is with babesia treatment, though, it's usually very compatible with lyme treatment. Do find out.

As with lyme treatments, most regular doctors won't be familiar or in support of methods in The Road Back. You can connect with doctors through that group. And most should be relatively lyme literate, too yet do inquire.

Be very careful about some of the immune suppression Rx that most rheumatologists suggest. More detail in link below.

Be sure to see the links regarding the RA factor tests here:
