Has anyone else experienced the feeling of tiny air bubbles exiting the urethra? Although it’s not painful it’s driving me nuts!

I thought it was coming from the vajayjay but pretty sure it’s urethra since it’s worse after I pee.

I’m going to see doctor tomorrow. I’m just wondering if this could be yet another thing triggered by Lyme.

Thanks!

Lyme and company LOVE the bladder.
Many research studies have show this yet you would be hard-pressed to find a Urologist who is ILADS or Lyme friendly.
Regardless, you need to see a Urologist.

Do you have any of these symptoms?
Leakage of urine
Foul-smelling pee
Frequent urination
Back, flank (sides of ribs), or abdominal pains
Chills, fevers, nausea

Have you ever been treated for a UTI?

You could have an infection of the bladder caused by gas-forming bateria or fungi. And you could be asymptomatic, presenting with no symptoms (although air buddies are a big clue).

Your Urologist will probably order;
Urine culture
Urinalysis Reflex
Comprehensive Metabotic Panel
Sensitivities Test for Organism (s)

Common causes of UTI's;
E. Coli
Citrobactter
Klebsiella
Streptococci
Escherichia coli
Proteus
Enterbacter species
Clostichium
Shaphylococcus aureus

Also found are 'unideniflied' organisms. This is where Lyme and company come into play.

Time to figure out what's going on, again. . . . Sorry.

I would like to tell you who my bad guy bacteria in my bladder and urethra......

Mycoplasma!

I had UTI infections over and over again for several years. It didn't matter which abx I tried, none of them did one darn thing for my horrible urethra pain.

My urethra felt like there was a clothes pin attached to it sometimes all day, every day. While emptying or not emptying.

I didn't have bubbles feeling like you, but my urethra was under a great amount of stress.

Every urine test showed negative. My PCP told me when I asked how they could be negative when I was feeling so much pain and discomfort. His response was "The labs only know what the labs know".

In other words they only test for a few things. It wasn't until I did Biofeedback with a new Naturopath that I found out I had Mycoplasma also.

It took me months of Rifing for Myco to get it knocked down. I couldn't believe that I had finally found something that knocked out that horrible bladder/urethra bacteria.

Myco is a stealth infection just like Lyme. If my immune system gets lowered by stress, over doing it, etc.....Myco can and will raise it's ugly head.

It's very easy now a days to knock Myco back with Rife into inactivity.

I highly recommend you read Dr Bill Rawls(ex Lyme victim) websites on the web. He has many writings on Mycoplasma and the truth about it. He has Herbals that he recommends for treatment.

Pam

Thank you both for your input! I’m so glad there are knowledgeable people like you here.

My urine test came back negative for UTI. [Frown] They are sending it to lab for further investigation.

Besides the annoying bubbles, it’s feeling inflamed at times. Freaking me out. I have appointment with urologist but have to wait few weeks.

I don’t know anything about mycoplasma but my friend just gave me the book by Dr. Bill Rawls so I’ll check it out!

I’m so grateful for this community, thank you again!

You might have Interstitial Cystitis. I have it, caused by Bartonella. Bartonella is known to attack the bladder.

Bubbles could also be from gas or carbonated drinks, so be mindful of that.

Thank you everyone. This is making a lot of serious now. Read the article link on intestinal cystitis and I definitely fit the bill. Lyme, bartenella, babesia as well as many others I’m sure.

Still waiting on urologist appointment, then it’s time to reconnect with my Lyme doctor. It’s been awhile. Probably a good idea anyway.

Thank you❤️
