Been treating Babs for 8 months, rotating meds every 2-3 months. This is my 2nd relapse, once I quit the meds, it slowly creeps up.
Severe day and night sweats were absolutely brutal, occurring every 45 MINUTES. Thankfully the sweats have reduced in intensity and frequency, down 90%, maybe 1 or 2 at night and during the day. YES!
I need help with the severe brain fog.
I watched Dr Alan MacDonald’s lecture about parasitic die off and have an LLMD closely monitoring me.
I have incorporated liposoma glut, liposoma cucurmin, NAC, green tea, ginger, Myco-Pul binder and LOTS of water.
Unfortunately I cannot use milk thistle as it is contradicted with Mepron.
I’m at a loss on how to get this brain fog to lift. I’ve been doing really stupid stuff lately due to my 1 second memory.
Ideas?

I have been struggling forever with cognitive issues. My 1 week of maintenance abx really helped but the benefits decreased over time until 5 weeks which is when I couldn't stand it anymore.
For many reasons my LLMD now only has me on minocylcine 2 weeks on 1 week off. And he added a low dose of methlyelne blue. 10 to 40 mg per day. The first cycle was with 10. I was in still in major brain fog. I didnt get the bump I got from my maintenance dose.
After a few cycles I got myself to 30 mg per day. Wow what a difference - it was immediate. I felt so much better. I still have issues. For instance my language hasn't improved. But my horse riding really improved. This would involve taking in many inputs to produce one output. Control of my limbs was better etc.
I get mine compounded. I have no idea what the stuff is like that is sold on internet.
Interesting that there is a difference between low and high dose

Can you explain what you mean by “brain fog?”
I hear the term a lot but not sure what it entails.
I do remember years ago while getting treatment for Lyme in Germany I bought chicken and put in the freezer above the fridge. Freezer turned out to be a cabinet which I figured out a few days later from the smell.
Is that brain fog?

Thanks terv- I will discuss with LLMD about the blue. So glad it helped you. Brain fog is the worst. I’ve had it before and it went away with treatment. This time it is worst and it is not going away.
hiker-yes, I would consider putting chicken in a cupboard brain fog.
Have you ever watched “50 first dates” with Drew Barrymore? That is what my brain fog is like. Last night I watched a movie and thought, “Wow, this is a really good movie” until 1/2 through it I connected that I had seen it before. This happens ALL the time.
If I set my coffee down and go into another room, I come back to NO coffee. Then it takes forever to find it. I spent all day long looking for things. TV remote is my nemesis!!!! So I put it in my pocket but then I take it out and lay it down somewhere because I forget to put it back in my pocket and the vicious cycle begins.
I forgot I had something on the stove and I melted the stove top knob. Now I use the crock pot. But I was making tea and forgot to put the spout top down on tea kettle so I didn’t hear the whistle and melted another stove top knob and burnt up my tea kettle.
I forget how to add or subtract. I forget how to spell my street name. I forget how to cook my favorite recipes.
Today I bought spray can paint but can’t find it. Bought zip ties, gone too. Bought potting soil, I found that. So frustrating. It’s like I can’t pay attention or I must be short circuiting in frontal lobe.
I tore up my house looking for it, TWICE, never found…
My brain fog is roughly 5 seconds of memory then it’s gone into the universe forever.
