Of course, the author is not suggesting this is possible for all people, all the time with all diagnoses. Still, good detail here.

A very extensive article. No herbs or even supplements are are suggested (other than supplement with Vitamin D if needed). But then, she is not a naturopathic doctor and so focusing on what's in her field: nutrition. Well worth your time - and worth copying to your "study & reference file".

8 STEPS TO REVERSING AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE

by Mary Vance, NC (Certified Nutrition Consultant)
- Feb. 3, 2015

Excerpts (from near the end, section: 8 STEPS . . . .

. . .

6. Reduce stress . . . sleep . . . .

[Poster's note: She should have also suggested adrenal support & magnesium]

7. FIND HIDDEN INFECTIONS

We know that autoimmune disease surfaces in those with viruses such as Epstein-Barr, herpes, or those who’ve had mono. Ask your doctor to test for underlying infections that can be addressed. These viruses continually affect your immune system.

[Poster's note: I give high marks for the infection inclusion.

Yet, as is usual with most health professionals, they never consider chronic stealth infections that are bacterial or protozoal in nature.

We all here know better. LLMDs and LL NDs are great at assessing not just tick-borne but also other chronic stealth infections besides just in the viral category.]

8. Reduce inflammation. . . .

Another excellent and comprehensive article with lots of light on the subject and a clear road map.

We All Have Some Degree of Autoimmune Disease

By Suzy Cohen, Pharmacist

. . . If our immune system does what it’s supposed to do, it sees things that are NON-SELF and it tags it with a special immunoglobulin.

My point is not to convince you of this, but instead to show you that we are all encountering things that are non human, things that could easily trigger autoimmunity and we don’t even know it.

. . . There’s a full-body cytokine storm of pro-inflammatory compounds and free radicals that are contributing to symptoms (even though your hormone levels are okay). . . .

What HELPS? [A list of 15 actions / support measures] . . . .
