Over the past year or so, I have developed what seems to be "tick-borne relapsing fever." I was bitten and infected at the end of 2012, and seemingly got over "classic Lyme" after a few short courses of antibiotics (which I was allergic to), then rotating natural protocols for quite a few months. I never regained my pre-bite stamina, but I had already been dealing with CFS/ME and fibromyalgia for many years.
Now, although my cycle doesn't match exactly with descriptions of TBRF, it seems to be about the only reasonable diagnosis. After using herbals for a few months to try to boost my immune system overall, I'm about to try erythromycin. I've gone from cyclical and debilitating G/I symptoms (which are helped greatly by taking oral colloidal silver and iodine), to spiking a fever of 100 every few days -- used to have about a week in-between, but now, just a few days.
Even on natural thyroid med, my normal temp is about 97, so at 100, I feel I am cooking. Nothing seems to bring it down ... it just has to run its course. This is obviously very depressing, and has made life especially challenging, as I've had the 24/7 responsibility for my now-87 year old mother for the last 4 years. I am running on empty, and then some.
Anyone else that's dealt with this, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Thanks so much.

It sure sounds like you're dealing with an active infection. I'd try something more than what you've been doing whether it be a natural or a pharmaceutical treatment.
I hope you feel better soon.
