I was taking 5,000 Vit D's per day for the past six months and still came up with this low level.

TSH is a nothing test, suppose to tell a doctor something but it tells nothing about thyroid hormones.
Your doctor needs to order real Thyroid tests: Free T4 Free T3 Reverse T3 Thyroid Antibodies (TPO & TgAB)
Linda, are you already taking thyroid meds?
