My holistic doc thinks heavy metals are causing my consistently and highly elevated homocysteine levels; I think it's recirculating lyme toxins because my homocysteine didn't become elevated until I started rifing lyme, and not getting all the neurotoxins out after doing so.
It would be really useful if I could cite journal articles or websites to get her headed in the right direction, instead of her wasting my time and money grasping at straws.
Any info. would be appreciated, GVS

Has anyone ruled out the MTHFR gene that can cause high homocysteine levels? Maybe a trial on methylfolate and methylcobalamin would aid in detoxing metals. Good luck!
