can psychomotor agitation (pacing from one room to another) and lack of internal monolouge or an empty mind of no thought process happen in a young adult with lyme disease because I've been dealing with really chronic depression from this and the I have the crawling sensation feeling of bugs roaming under my skin always and I'm just looking for reassurance that this is normal for a possible lyme infection or my bipolar disorder is manifesting into a extreme psychosis cuz my vocabulary usage has really been reduced from the thick fog and I just feel like a vegetable, any thoughts if lyme causes that?

I know I always would walk around and look like I was lost, even those I wasn't lost at all. I just do strange things like looking around and pacing when I'm trying to get my thoughts together.

My brain feels empty a lot of the time, and I had the bugs crawling under my skin feeling too. It's gotten a lot better for me though, and I'm sure it will get better for as you keep treating.

Oh my Kevin . . your posts do not suggest an empty mind, quite the contrary. You write very eloquently, although rushed..

You need to take a deep breath and tell yourself that this too shall pass. Because it will.

When you post, please break up sentences so others that are struggling with Neuro issues can read and reply.

A woman I met at my chronic illness class ( not as bad as it sounds) told me her OCD sky-rocketed when she got diagnosised with M.S. Chronic illnesses cause so much STRESS that it amplifies other problems.

Anxiety is really a big issue with Lyme patients. And why wouldn't it be ? It's a truly SCARY disease. Everyday is a smorgasbord of the most frightening #### you could NEVER imagine !!!

Your vocabulary is pretty good considering how sick you are. Feeling imaginary bugs crawling on one's body might freak-out most people but NOT Lyme warriors !

Your LLMD will save your life.
Mine did and I hold her in the highest esteem ! I will not let anyone say a negative word about her in my presence. She believed me when I had bugs crawling, seeing ghosts, unable to stand, unable to talk, feeling pain unbearable to mankind, eyes popping out of my head, couldn't hold a glass, unable to chew without making a bloody mess of my mouth, crying jags, lost days and months in fetal position.

Everyone here at Lymenet will help you anyway we can.
Please believe me, you can do this. Never give up and keep fighting. It will get better. πŸ’šβ€οΈπŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ’š
