Hello everyone!!

I have Lyme disease(garinii strain). I got diagnosed six months but think I have had since childhood. Most of mi life I have felt down and/or depressed. Recently(Oct) I started a new treatment, which consists mostly on vitamins along with citroplus and a strict sugar and gluten free.

Additionally only a few days I started the Cowden protocol. I was supposed to started last Oct along with the other treatment, but I didn’t by mistake.

The last few days(before starting Cowden) I’m feeling a lot better.

Has anyone tried Cowden protocol?

Best.

I have never used it, but have had good luck taking some of the Stephen Buhner protocol herbs.

He uses herbs you can buy anywhere. He doesn't profit from them. He even teaches you how to tincture your own herbs.

He has several books addressing lyme, various co-infections and viruses.

But, I have heard of people having good luck with Cowden.

Lyme is a journey. Each person is different.

If you can afford it, it would be good to start with an LLMD,

Hi bokeron,

I had the Garinii strain also for 8 years (with coinfections) and was severely ill, but am well now.

I am curious as to where you think you may have contracted Garinii, as it is considered a "European Strain"(although I contracted it on Block Island, RI, and learned it is carried by coastal sea birds).

Dr. Cowden was one of the many LLMD's I saw (unsuccessfully). The Cowden herbs did not work for me, but I was very chemically sensitive at the time, and could not do the full protocol.

I became well with mild hyperbaric oxygen (home chamber). If interested, you can read more on the mild hyperbaric thread, or PM me.
