One drop of blood reveals your body's history of viral infections,

A test called the VirScan, was developed at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The company was founded by the late Howard Hughes. It is located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. It is one of the largest private funded organization for biological and medical research in the U.S.

A researcher at Brigham and Women's Hospital led the development of VirScan. The test works by recognizing the DNA of known viral proteins that have been downloaded into a data base.

The cost of the test is 25.00.

Many auto-immune diseases are thought to have a viral or infectious component. This test could provide the answers.
The results of the test were published over 3 years ago and as of yet, is still not commercially available.

Wow! is all I can say. How beneficial that wouldbe for so many people.

I swear our healthcare system is so backwards. \

Wonder if my Dr would sign off on this test for myself, just for giggles.
