Been on Doxycycline for 18 months. Got bad case of h pylori getting treated with levaquin and clarithromycin. Went off the doxy for h pylori treatment, after 1 week stomach pain is better but lyme symptoms fatigue, insomnia and brain fog have intensisified along with terrific periods of rage. Have also tested positive recently for bartonella. At this point I dont want to finish my h pylori treatment because the rest of my body feels so much worse. Anyone have any thoughts? Lyme doc says thes drugs are hitting the bart also. If I survive them! Regular doc says h pylori needs to go due to cancer risk and ulcers. I was in tremendous stomach pain and could not eat.

I am so afraid of fluoroquinolones that I would suspect the levaquin myself.

Bart is famous for causing rage. Levaquin is a good bart drug. I'd say you're having a Bart flare, but as Lymetoo suggests Levaquin can be pretty rough so be careful and call your doc if you are scared.
