Hi all, Looking for some more solutions/ideas. Since Christmas, Ive been sick 5 times, with a fever 4 of those times (and one time was definitely the flu with vomiting, etc.).

Throughout almost that whole 3 months, I have also had a sore throat that varies from annoying to incredibly painful.

Does anyone have any guesses about recurrent infections particularly with fever and sore throat? I was thinking Bartonella, but otherwise I don't have the same Bart symptoms that I used to.

For reference, I have tested positive for Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella (had the rash, never bloodwork), Myocplasma, and also EBV, CMV, HHV-6 (so basically everything we've checked for).

Even if you don't have any ideas what may be causing it, has anyone found good sore throat remedies? My LLMD and I are working on building me back up first by killing off anything that might be lurking, but then switching to immune support primarily, but in the mean time, I have to figure out a way to deal with this throat.

Thanks, as always, and to everyone, good health.

Apparently I have had this issue before...and maybe my memory isn't doing as well as I thought.

That resolved, maybe I should just be patient. I'll still take any recommendations!

Maybe Mycoplasma pneumoniae could be to blame? My son had constant bouts of strep (monthly) when he first got sick and his titers were high for Myco. He did not, however, have a sore throat for as long as you have had.

Try gargling three times a day with a solution of 1-2 drops of Tea Tree Oil mixed with about 4 ounces of lukewarm water. Spit it out - do not swallow it. If you don't like the Tea Tree Oil, then use sea salt as a substitute.
