Have not posted in a long time and doing well. Have Lyme in check without abx.
My doctor just prescribed this medicine for lowering cholesterol which is a shot. Reading mixed reviews online and thought I would reach out to this community to see if anyone has taken this.
I have tried many different methods to lower cholesterol without success and need drugs like statins to get down to acceptable levels. Just looking for input if anyone has experience with this particular drug and not looking for alternative recommendations.
Any experiences you can share would be appreciated.

Triglycerides are fine. I had a stent two years ago and cholesterol without statins was 475. Familia Hyperlipidemia runs in my family and I am no exception. At time of stent, had another artery 60% clogged which was not able to have stent so left as is at the time. I am in excellent shape for my age and eat healthy.
This is all great information but none has proven effective for lowering my cholesterol. Statins are necessary and I tolerate them.
Still looking for anyone who has used this Praluent.
