Hi guys. Quick recap of me. I struggled with many Lyme related symptoms from about 2009 until 2016. My biggest struggle was really bad brain fog (a very out of it, sometimes dizzy/confused feeling) 24/7 paired with headaches and weakness in arms and legs.

I took the herbal Core Protocol from Green Dragon Botanicals (based on Bruhner's book) for around 2 years and finally went into remission.

Last week all of my symptoms came back.

Hoping to beat this faster this time. I was recommended Eleuthero and Cordyceps and possibly in addition to the core protocol.

Does anybody have any other recommendations for herbal treatments, specifically for brain fog?

And how long should I try each herb before ruling it out?

Thanks so much!

Sorry- I know what this is like. I just started liposomal glutathione to detox. I feel more like I am here now. You may want to try that. I am taking it three times a day.

I would go on antivirals (not drugs), stuff like licorice, lemon balm, cats claw, garlic...

Brain fog is known to be also a sign of viral infections, not only lyme disease (I mean, anyway, lyme always comes in combo with other pathogens).

Anything that is widespectrum would work. Buhner's book Herbal Antibiotics have many herbs as suggestions, most are wide spectrum.

Garlic is the number 1, he said. If you google you'll find the whole book of Buhner through a library, and you can read it through the internet.

Thanks so much guys! I have Buhner's book but I don't remember him mentioning garlic. I will have to re-read.

It's in Buhner's Herbal Antibiotics, NOT Healing Lyme.
