- Cockapoo,
Thanks for posting that. The more people can be proactive for themselves, the better.
Do you know what BANDS they test? Do they do all the band that Igenex does?
Still, even if they might not test all the bands, if the test is still positive, that (with key symptoms) might well be enough to go on.
If not testing all the bands, though, a negative would still not be able to rule it out.
And - of course - it would be really important for all the bands they do test to come to patient in full report so it can be seen which bands are equivocal &/or positive.
It might vary location to location but it might be something that an inquiring patient could find out. -

- Adding to your excellent link, for anyone new to all this, some other important considerations / avenues of insight:
Be sure to consider - before the test is done - the over two dozen ways a lyme test can go wrong -- in order to get yours as correct as possible.
Diagnosing Lyme Disease (&/or whatever else is going on)
SEE the WESTERN BLOT EXPLANATION links here regarding lyme.
Other tick-borne infections and other chronic stealth infections discussed, too [such as: mycoplasma pneumonia, chlamydia pneumonia, EBV, HHV-6 and other herpes viruses and enterovirus, etc.]
