so I was clearing out my phone to make room and came across info about myself- I was dx with ehrlichia in september and I forgot.

I was given an herbal kit by one dr, and doxy - 100mg/ 2x day- by another one. I put off both , couldn't decide which way to go, and I totally forgot because that is when my MIL died and then my mom right after got very ill and fell to her own death. Totally forgot about any of this.

My sx got worse and I thought I was having disease flares or rebitten, etc., but sx seemed to be mostly that of bart or babs. Now seeing I tested pos. using a meridian test, I am a bit worried as my main sx right now

are increased tinitus, brain fog, high tingling of arms, legs, and other areas of body, and now I have increasing skin numbness. it is really freaking me out. I can't smell as well as I was at all either.

So my quesitons- should I take the doxy? is it enough? I don't have that same dr any more. I now see an ND who had lyme , etc, herself so she has some good experience. she said to not take the doxy. that the things she gave me will kill the ehrlichia along with the other things. (def. have bart & babs)

All of what I have read on line says ehrlichia can only be gone with abx. ?????

I am pretty scared. I don't want irreparable damage!

ND has me on Argentyn 23 and Artemisinin

100 mg twice a day wouldn't do very much, in my opinion.

Try the herbal route and see how it goes. Sounds like you are in good hands.

100 mg of doxy twice a day is the dosage used for Ehrlichia. Not for Lyme, of course; that is twice that.

In my experience, if you have had it a long time, it can take a long time to get rid of it, even though that is not what is usually said (even by some top LLMD's).

Ehrlichia can make you sick alright. If it were me, I'd take it. I know everyone is different.

I gather that you said this was an energetic test, not a blood test, right?

I have no idea about the herbal route or what the herbs rx'd for you were.

Wow, no wonder you forgot with the back to back huge stressors.

Your symptoms sound like they may be more than just Ehrlichia, bad as that can be. You know, it's rare for long-term patients to have only one of these pathogens, unfortunately.

Plus, you're dealing with mold, right? Sigh, when it rains, it pours.

Lisa, I highly recommend you check our Dr Bill Rawls site on herbals. He's one of us.

His group also provides phone consults for $99 for 90 minutes(?). One of his phone consult ladies is also one of us.

His webinars are great source of info. I watch him quite a bit.

BTW, I suspected I had Ehrlichia 20 yrs ago and never tested positive. Biofeedback hit on it as being reactivated and I hit it pretty good for 2 mths with rife.

Wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't reappear down the road. It's not a simple one to completely rid yourself of.

Pam

EVERYONE- THNAKS!!

I will check out Rawls, map!
I was dx via biomeridian machine for ehrlichia.

my new LLND dx me with bart and babs and lyme (again)- clinical sx.

I agree with al lthat. I have a lot of sx.
I am back to typing iwth disconnected and mispelled words, etc. that is a true test for me too. It is so discouraging as I was just getting my writing ability back! sniff sniff. so disheartening.

but I still have a lot of my brain I got back- i just hope it doesn't leave me again. and my anxiety is through the roof.

ND told me 100mg 2x day is not enough for ehrlichia. she said go ahead and take it if I want but I dnot need to and she didn't seem too concerned. I still don't really believe any drs, but she was v good and I am herxing on what she gave me and I am feeling betting in some ways, so I am trying to remain encouraged.
thanks again
