I have a lot of pain in my right shoulder and left knee.
Orthopedic MD keeps offering a cortisone shot.
Any thoughts or experiences.
Am having trouble walking.
See doctor next week.

I would say no to steroids. It's a temporary fix and not good for true healing. Dr B says no steroids for Lyme patients.

Look into PEMF, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy.
I was having alot of problems with my knee a number of years ago, it hurt when I walked, it hurt when I was resting. I got the SOTA Magnetic Pulser, which some other people at LymeNet were trying. (This was more than ten years ago.)
I gave myself a couple 20 minute treatments each day for a week or two, and whatever was wrong inside the knee healed.
I haven't had problems with it since then.
There are a number of other brands of PEMF machines available now, and I think they charge way too much. But the results are wonderful!
