I have been off hydroxycobalamine shots (10,000 hydroxy/ml) for the last year due to finances. I've developed deep bleeding cracks in lips that heal when I get a shot and improve with eating grass fed lamb throughout day. I've taken OrthoMolecular Methyl B12 sublingual 5000mcg with methylfolate. I can buy 60 tabs for about $15. The injectable is $57 for a 10 cc bottle. I am wondering if I spend $60, am I better off to buy 4 bottles of sublingual or buy injectable and get 1-2 shots per week instead of daily. The low B12 causing thinking and sleep issues, perhaps neurologic and cramps as well. I live on $900 per month so this is big for me.
