All morning now I've had horrible chest pain, pain in my back and in my upper stomach region.

What did anyone take for this to subside and why is this happening?

On this rifabutin now 3.5 weeks.

Thanks

Sounds like acid reflux from it.

Did you call your doctor?

Definitely not acid reflux. I felt better after having lunch.

Last week and over the weekend it was all down my legs and hips.

**** it, this sucks so much.

I refuse to call my LLMD. I don't want her to take me off.

I now have 2 Lyme rashes coming out.

Another poster, bcb1200, advised you of her bad experience with this medication.
"Turns out the drug made my WBC plummet to near zero (a known side effect.)"

Your white blood cells (WBC) are needed to kill bacteria and viruses in the bloodstream.
Bacteria like bartonella.

Your coworkers are being supportive, but they don't have the experience to recognize when something is wrong.
So I will be blunt and say something.
You should call your doctor.

One of the reasons you hired an expert to oversee your care is that she knows what to do when something goes wrong.
This is why you pay the LLMD’s the big bucks.

Also, take some pics of the rash to send to her when you email or call the office.
Rash may be a symptom of allergy to a medication.

I'll call my LLMD and request blood work to be on the safe side.

Not sure why she didn't mention it at my last appt.
