just read reviews-didn't realize the dr doesn't see you for $800. you see nurse practioners or physicians assts. I don't think they should charge that high fee if you are not being seen by him alone.

I think how it works is they consult with the doctor. At least that's how it's done around here.

However, having said that, I think fees are way too high for ill people to manage.

I didn't know they could charge that high if you weren't seeing him. The others are not doctors or specialists. I've heard treatment is covered by insurance. But then someone said someone went to a LLMD that did not take insurance as IV was cheaper with the other doctor?

Marie, Have you called the office and spoken to someone about their fees, if not please do so. They are transparent about fees. You can see whoever you want, just ask the availability of that care provider.

From what I remember the figure you quoted is for the Initial visit ONLY, and they spend many hours with you. Try having a PCP spend that much time with you and see what you are billed. I have with a regular PCP and it was higher than the that figure you quoted with way less time spent with me.

Subsequent visits to this practice are not $800

If you plan to visit this practice and want to see a particular practitioner and this person is not available right away ask to be put on their waiting list.
