So I was feeling a lot better these past 4 weeks until yesterday I was starting to feel funny and
now today I am feeling pretty crappy again. I have a feeling in my head where it is like my
ears are clogged but they aren't I keep swallowing and popping them to make sure. I have
pressure right behind my ears where my jaw meets my ear. It came out of no where and is causing me
to feel terrible my ears to ring and I don't want to do anything besides sit in bed. Any idea what
this new symptom is or why it happened? Really starting to get pissed off. Only have been sick
since July but every time I make progress and start to feel like myself again something random
happens and it is really discouraging.

I mean the emotional feeling of being one step forward, one step back.

good for a few weeks now I have that omg what's wrong anxiety. Behind My ears feel swollen so I'm curious if it's my
lymph nodes or something and I have a pain in my lower back left side soo muscles? Or liver ? Going to get a liver enzyme
test today. Also have to buy a thermometer mine conviently decided to break. Ugh feel terrible weak and dizzy no energy.

Do you keep a log book to track day to day symptoms, ABX and supplement protocol changes, full moon cycles, and weather patterns?
It may take awhile to see any patterns, but if you don't have a daily log you will never recall everything.

Yes but I have only been treating for about 2 months so there are no patterns or consistencies yet

I just posted on another thread about having that exact same symptom, below ear, top part of jaw. Not the other ear symptoms you describe, though. Had them some years ago, not recurred lately. Have had tinnitus for years with lyme, no change with this new thing below ear.
Have no idea what this is, doc says not swollen gland. Have the impression that taking enzymes helps.

Possibly TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder). Its common with many lyme patients.
I had it treated by re-aligning my jaw years before my TBD infections. Then I had to have all my teeth re-aligned to match the new jaw position.

I thought it was a sinus infections so I took phusdafed of however you spell it and I took ceftin and that seemed to help
for a while but then came off ceftin and switched to doxy and it slowly came back. Some days worse than others.

- Very common symptoms, actually. TMJ possible and inner ear (vestibular) symptoms can be from lyme, other TBD &/or certain Rx. Some diet changes can help such as being gluten free, dairy free.
GINGER CAPSULES & MAGNESIUM are the place to begin for some relief. More detail here:

I get that from time to time. I feel like I have a balloon in my head sometimes going up and down. No one has ever figured it out. I am from Boston also. Do you see Dr. H in Watertown by chance? I hope you can find the answers

Just a thought. Was your thermometer a mercury one? I doubt if they're even available anymore, but I had one break years ago. I had to have chelation for that eventually.
