Topic: can slippery elm be taken with Diatomaceous Earth?

If slippery elm is taken with Diatomaceous Earth, will it get in the way of DE's effects?
In particular, can DE work if there's a chance slippery elm might be absorbing it? I'd love to be able to take them together, to take advantage of more than just the toxin-binding capacity of DE. Slippery Elm does a number of stomach-calming, additional binding things in addition to DE, and isn't expensive. GVS

I would think the concern would be that the DE would strip the effectiveness of the slippery elm.
DE removes minerals and vitamins if not taken 2 hours away from them. -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!
