Can anyone tell me about the use of Borax in tick-borne disease? How do you use it and what's it supposed to do?

Can you really ingest the 20 MuleTeams Borax, or can one buy pharmaceutical grade Borax?

What's the difference between Borax and boric acid?

I would be greatful for any info.

I have heard of peole using it for Morgellons, but don't know if it works. And food grade would be better.

I don't know anything about it. How it works, or its safety.

Borax is a mineral, mined from the California and Nevada deserts, and contains 11% boron.
Boric acid is a constituent of borax, and is sometimes found in volcanic spring waters.
Boron is a mineral found in food and naturally combined in compounds such as borax and boric acid.

Borax is not toxic to people in small quantities.
After consideration, I decided to go with boron.

Here is info about boron from WebMD:
https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-894/boron

iHerb.com and Amazon.com offer several brands of boron.
It seems to be well regarded and is not very expensive.

As to what boron does, it affects how the body processes minerals like magnesium.
It’s my understanding that boron keeps the kidneys from filtering out too much magnesium, which means that more is available for the liver to use.

The Lyme bacteria use the body’s magnesium to live.
We need our magnesium for the liver to make glutathione to detoxify toxins, including dead Lyme bacteria.

Low magnesium causes many of the symptoms associated with Lyme Disease.
