Had blood work and my wbc and platelets wete flagged low but liver levels flagged high.

My LLMD thinks it's a good idea to come off the Rifabutin. I need to call her today to discuss these results ( I missed her call yesterday evening)

I've been sick over a month now since I began the Rifabutin and Clarithromycin.

My depression and anxiety has been at an all time high dealing with this.

I've been heavily fatigued and some days at work can barely function. When I get home I go right to bed. I have been having low grade fevers too.

Where is the light at the end of this tunnel?

Spoke with my LLMD. Cannot take Rifabutin anymore.

Repeat blood work in a week.

One step forward, 3 steps back. Wtf.

Glad you got off of it. Not every drug is a good choice for every person.

Hang in there!

Got my labs redrawn yesterday. WbC normal, platelet volume high and 1 out of the 2 liver tests was high but went down from before.

Still upset/frustrated I couldn't follow through with this protocol and it messed with my blood work. I was so sick from the Rifabutin I really thought it was worth it and a good thing and I'd be at a turning point.

1 step forward 3 steps back it feels like some days . I really had hope.

Next follow up appt is 5/3.

💚

Treating lyme disease is definitely a one step forward and 3 steps back.

Just realize that is how it works so your mind won't get thrown off so hard.

Power on and WIN!!
