Just had liver biopsy via EGD/ultrasound.
Dr. said "everything looks normal" so now I wait for biopsy results, but I am accepting it is probably my bartonella living where it likes. liver and spleen.
I have a lot of elevated BW and lots of pain on left and right upper abdominal quadrant.
I see a v good ILADS dr. who is functional med. that doesn't really RX pharmaceuticals. I am slowly working my way up in amount of treatment because I react so easily now that I have MCAS .
but I want to get rid of this!!
what else can I do besides what the herbals and homeopathic I am on that won't interfere or hurt me on top of what my dr. RX?
Part of the problem is I figured out, I went to bare minimum last year in the fall because I couldn't afford treatment or the LLMD. My bart is back full swing, and with skin stripes and all.... so many symptoms.
I believe my treatment is working but im worried it isn't fast enough becasue of this pains in liver/spleen. Also my babs is active, but who knows. the symptoms overlap so much!!!
DO I need a hepatologist on top of the LLMD? I am worried about spleen eruption with babs. and I am on a LOT of blood thinning enzymes RX from dr.

If it comes back OK, then it could be from the MCAS. MCAS affects the liver and the spleen.
Keep us posted.

so it could be the MCAS AND the bart?
they are doing mast cell test on the tissue samples.
I guess that will tell
