I heard this more than once as of recent that NAC is flying off the shelves and being harder to find and purchase OTC. Why is this?

My Psych NP confirmed this and thinks its so it can be offered Rx only so FDA to gain $?

Sad if this is true, but not surprised. I don't believe she was thrilled to hear that as well.

I have seen it being used in covid protocols. In particular the famous Dr. H is suggesting it.

Here’s the explanation why the FDA wants it pulled off the market as an OTC supplement.
https://suzycohen.com/articles/say-goodbye-to-nac-supplements/

Amazon decided they would side with the FDA.
They will no longer sell it on their platform.

There has been pushback and it’s not completely a done deal. Many companies still are selling it. I get my from Natural Heathy Concepts. I ordered 2 bottles just in case.

I wonder when the FDA decided this. Maybe during Covid when a lot of people started using it? If so I could really rant but I wont.

You can contact the white house and complain about that.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

While your at it ask why the FDA feels like is is not accountable to congress.
