Two years ago I was diagnosed with Lyme based on an Igenix test, which my doctor read as a "strong positive." We just retested and the result is now negative. One band was positive and the others that were positive before are now indeterminate, for an overall negative result. I can't say I feel much better, although this is encouraging.
Can I rely on this as no longer having Lyme or am I still technically positive? I would love to hear from people more experienced in these matters. Thank you

Lyme, treated with antibiotics, shows up falsely negative on subsequent tests. The abx mutes the immune response and gives a false negative. Once you have lyme, you never get rid of it. You can beat it back with aggressive treatment, but you will always have it. Lyme patients can feel better by taking up walking. Lyme spirochetes do not like heat and oxygen. Walking heats and oxygenates your body.

Thank you. Yes, both tests were by Igenix. I have taken zero antibiotics. I took some herbs for a while and fell off that wagon. I did go in the hyperbaric chamber daily for 18 months.

Did you test for co-infections such as Bartonellosis, Babesiosis, Ehrlichia, etc.?

Having recovered 100% from neurological Lyme via mild hyperbaric (home chamber), it is entirely possible that your 18 months of hyperbaric are responsible for your negative results.
If you are still not feeling better, however, you might consider continuing. I did daily treatments for 2.5 years, although I was much improved in 18 months.
