Dear all,

LYME
After reading the excellent book "Recovery From Lyme Disease" I found you on this forum.
From the book I also learned that Disulfiram could be a cure for Lyme. Indeed it is. I got back my future by taking Disulfiram -low dose- which very likely eradicated my Lyme after 13 years. Thank you very very much Dr Kinderlehrer!

BARTONELLA?
Despite being cured from Lyme I kept being punished by frequent bad days with fever of unknown origin and numbness feeling in several toes with occasionally red spots under the skin (Petechia) amongst others.

Please comment when you have suggestions, especially when you have experiences with MB & Azi.

https://www.treatlyme.net/guide/kills-bartonella-a-brief-guide . This is the best article on Bartonella eradication I could find to my assumption.

Based on this article I have sourced MB and Azi. I am taking it now for two weeks without much improvement.
Any suggestions? (I also sourced Bactrim DS).

All the best for 2022.

Greetings from Rotterdam from Hank

Hello, Hank,

A little aside from your question, but it might interest you that after nothing else worked, I recovered completely from severe Bartonella (plus neuroLyme, Babesia, etc.) via mild hyperbaric. My symptoms were predominantly Bartonella, if you were to categorize them.

If interested, you can PM me, and/or read the Mild Hyperbaric Treatment thread on this site.

Hi Hank,

I'm sorry you're having these problems. So am I, off and on. My doc thinks it's Babesia and Bartonella.

I'm now back to minocycline, bactrim, and azithromycin. Also taking oregano oil. I began it on my own after suspecting something coming back, and had a big response.

My current problem is overwhelming anxiety, which I presume is a herx. It can take a while for any treatment to work.

The link you posted is the best thing I know about.

Really hope this helps.
