How much of a whole food vitamin c would you take to replace 1000 mgs of ascobic acid vitamin c with bioflavinoids added?

i don't think anyone knows the answer to the question
typically vitamins in foods come with other biological factors - like bioflavonoids which can increase the activity of the vitamin
but i guess that depends on the bioflavonoid/co-factor content of the food in question
then you mention the supplement form of vitamin C also has some bioflavnoids added - and we don't know how effective these are vs the ones naturally occurring in the food source you wish to replace the supplement with
too many unknowns unfortunately
bottom line is it may not matter very much - anywhere near 1000mg is many times over the RDA
also vitamin C absorption is not linear and starts to almost flatline not far above 1000mg a day when taken orally - as the gut lining regulates absorption quite tightly

I have read that Vit C is water soluble so suggested to take 1000mg (to tolerance) hourly when out where we could be exposed to viruses. I always start with 2000mg in the am.
