I'm having success using farocompany.com's Xanthone Powder to help my allergies and inflammation/pain levels. To get it's full benefit it takes me 1.5- 2 tsps./day, higher than the recommended dose.
At that dose it's definitely lowering my cholesterol. Because my cholesterol was already on the low side, and because my body can't make enough adrenalin and thyroxin without adequate cholesterol to make it from, low cholesterol is a problem. Running low on adrenalin and thyroxin makes me feel more dead than alive.
Does anybody know how much mangosteen reduces total cholesterol? Or know of a company with a customer service department that knows more about their product than what's on the computer screen in front of them?
Thanks, GVS

I think www.pft.com could answer this - this is Pure Fruit Technologies. They produce the mangosteen juice blend version I drink, called Mango-Xan. Ask to speak with Mike. 866-464-6738.

It sounds like you've been experimenting with the dosage and have found what works best for you, but I understand your concerns about low cholesterol levels. Have you tried consulting with a healthcare professional to see if there are any other natural remedies or supplements you could take to help balance your adrenalin and thyroxin levels?

I'm new here and I don't know much about mangosteen or cholesterol, but I wanted to share some info I found about reducing cholesterol. I stumbled upon a website which has an atorvastatin coupon that can help lower cholesterol. I know it's not exactly what you were asking for, but it might be worth checking out. As for mangosteen, I'm not sure how much it reduces total cholesterol, but it's great to hear that it's been helping with your allergies and inflammation/pain levels. It's always important to find natural remedies that work for you, especially if you're trying to avoid pharmaceuticals.
