If anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it. My family dr said my one band on the western blot means a neg test and that's that. I'm convinced I have Lyme and really need to find someone to listen.
I'm located in Northeast PA but would drive if I had to.
Thank you

Hi. You are certainly right to keep investigating your health/lyme disease. My son only had one band, is being treated, and is a whole new little kid! 3 months after beginning antibiotics he tested again but with IGeneX, not our local lab, and tested positive for lyme on 6 lyme-specific bands.

I will send you the PA list. I recently called the LDA's referral line for LLMDs and wrote down all the LLMDs in PA. Look for an email.

You could check into NJ or another nearby state by calling the LDA at 888-366-6611 and listen to the options for the physician referral line. Leave a message with your state of interest, name and phone and someone will call you back.

Keep investigating lyme. Good thinking.

Leslie

Margaret,
Are you an R.N. with a B.S.?
Me too!

Are you near Scranton? North east Pennsylvania isn't too awful far from New York City. Check a map.
There are several Lyme literate M.D.'s in NYC; you might want to request for a doc there.

Good luck.

Margaret,

Is your posted email address correct? Last week I got 1 "delayed" message from my delivery service (hotmail) and I didn't know if it got to you or not. And now, tonight, a I have an email from hotmail saying that the message failed to deliver. I tried to resend it. Could you let me know if/when you receive the PA list from me?

I don't know why my email didn't get to you.
