I need some assistance wrt finding a doc. I live in Oklahoma. I have a GP locally who is beginning to show signs of intolerance for prescribing further abx treatment at behest of the LLMD I see in New york area who happens to be in brazil for a couple of months. SO does anyone know any LLMDs in Oklahoma or AT LEAST one who will prescribe drugs at the behest of another LLMD located out of state? It really helps insurance wise if the prescribing doctor is from Oklahoma. I will travel to any corner of the state. I am also considering switching to dr.C in missouri for convenience purposes although I really like dr. X in NYC area. What is the report on Dr. C? Is he good? Does he treat aggressively? Basically I was sick for more than 10 years and the two 20 week IV courses I've had so far haven't cleaned me out. IV zithromax worked wonders for me but I relapsed. I can't remember the name of the really hard core IV stuff but I want to do it and see if it helps at all. I'm currently doing bicillin shots and I hate to say it but it's not doing a darn thing for me. I would say that I'm depressed, quite ill, and getting pretty desperate. I hate the medical profession in this country.

Hey Bruce! Dr C is my dr. He's wonderful! He's not as aggressive as some, but he LISTENS, so I'm sure if you tell him you tried this and this, etc......he'll know to get out the big guns.
He also has other options up his sleeve. Heparin may be a good thing for you to try, and I'm sure he'll test your hormone levels. Both of those helped me immensely.
