Hi Cathy,
the dr in colmar is a very good lyme lit dr. i haven't seen him , but people in my support group (doylestown) have. it is my understanding that he does not do i.v. abx. the first visit will be very expensive. he spends a lot of time with you and does a lot of tests using his labs and like most llmd's he does not take insurence. expect a very long wait in his office.

my support group leader was taking her son to him. he is a very sick young man. he treated him for at least two yrs. the boy, despite being obviously still sick, is not testing pos by pcr and dr b regrettingly told the mom he would no longer be able to treat him.

i go to dr E in jackson, NJ. i live in yardley so it is an easy straight drive (50 min.) on I195. if you have children, you may want to consider a season pass to great adventure/ hurricaine harbor. you will pass it on the way.

I was warned to stay completely away from the doc in Colmar, NJ.

He apparently charges an outrageous amount for sessions (much more than typical Lyme docs in the area). Plus, people don't seem very satisfied with the care they've gotten from him.

Second-hand info; may not be worth much, but it's what I heard

Andie
