Haven't heard of any Lyme in the Atlanta area but my son has been sick for over a year and dozens of doctors do not have a clue as to what is wrong. He has displayed a great number of the listed symptoms for Lyme disease but the doctors here are not to keen on making a diagnosis of Lyme. Until recently we have not made a connection with Lyme disease but recently we did come to the realization that my son started getting sick about one month after a vacation to California. While in California we visited Muir Woods and stayed in Tahoe for several days. This trip occurred in late July 2004. I am trying to find out if anyone has any pertinent information regarding ticks and (or)Lyme in these areas of California and during that time of year.

Lyme is found in 49 states.

California has plenty of Lyme all times of the year.

I was diagonsed with Lyme, Babesisa (both tick bite infections) at the FFC in Atlanta. They specialize in CFS/Fibromyalgia and of course Lyme and Lyme coinfections. If anyone can get to the root of your son's problem it will be there.

You can get more information on the website.
Good luck,
Dalphia
