Hello!

The new issue of the PHA is now online at www.publichealthalert.org (Click "in this issue")

If you have a website designated to Lyme or Lyme causes, please consider linking to the PHA website. The more places we can get the news out there the better!

Also, if you know of any support groups, doctors offices, etc that would like to put the PHA in their offices, or pass out to support groups, etc...health fairs....ANYWHERE....

We will send you bulk copies for ONLY the cost of the postage (as long as supplies last!) The paper is free, you just pay for the postage to get it to you!

http://www.publichealthalert.org/order_bulk_copies.htm

go to the above link and fill out your request for bulk papers. You can get a box of 70 papers for the postage cost of $10 mailed anywhere in the USA.

Someone suggested we get people to sponsor the $10 postage fee to mail a box to specific IDSA doctors! I'll do it if you can cover the postage fees! Just pick a doc, send me the complete mailing address and paypal me the postage money and I will drop in the mail! (That would be fun wouldn't it! LOL!)

Please continue to link to the PHA website www.publichealthalert.org and have friends and family visit the website!

ALso, if you know anyone who would benefit from advertising in the PHA, send them our way!

Many Thanks for all the support!

NP40 and I have these great ideas where to send these to:

* our local legislators,
* our FEDERAL senators/reps,
* YOUR GOVERNOR,
* YOUR ATTORNEY GENERAL fyi only,
* MD offices you frequent,
* YOUR BLOOD LAB AREAS!,
* X-RAY AREAS;
* HOSPITAL BLOOD LAB AND ER area;
* for family members in disbelief!!,
Betty note...Christmas; your gift to family!

* have extra for those you learn of locally seeking lyme testing/treatment.

* AND your LOCAL NEWSPAPER WHO WILL NOT PUBLISH ANY LYME ARTICLES YOU HAVE SENT THEM like my Ames and Des Moines, Iowa papers:

* my getting lyme from a tick off a live xmas tree, and the new IDSA rules/Conn. AG filing antitrust suit against IDSA!

Rub it in their faces says me, Bettyg! [cussing]

Thanks so much for this website and information. I find reading information from others with lymes helps in knowing there is help. Daughter is now under treatment and labs sent off. Hoping she will feel better and be on her way to recovery soon.

Dawn, mine came yesterday, and I finished reading my 1st paper copy today. OUTSTANDING job everyone did!

Donna, you outdid yourself! I'm still behind in not reading last months, so will have to work on that now.

Dawn, I have one suggestion on your paper copy. When the articles are split up, when you show the next part of the entire article ... will you show the WRITER'S NAME by the title OR at the end of the article IF on the same page.

I could not figure out who wrote what column unless I read that entire article ONE at a time. That part was confusing.

I was very surprised Dawn that I was able to read it as well as I could!! CONGRATS TO YOU for doing a wonderful on editing, etc!!

IOWANS, did any of you order the 70 copies from Dawn like I did?
WHO did you send to for public/state officlas/MDs

I made out my list today who I am getting copies to BUT DO NOT WANT TO SEND 2 COPIES TO SAME PERSON.

I'm planning on mailing to:

gov. vilsack, gov elect culvert, AG tom miller;

iowa's dept. of health ... patty quinlisk and other woman over infectious disease area;

CONGRESS: harkin, grassley, and latham

local American Red Cross asking them to forward a copy to IOWA'S RED CROSS DIRECTOR and onto NATIONAL RC OFFICE!

Ames hospital ceo, ER, blood lab

" clinic of MDs I normally see, blood labs,

my local STATE reps

my dentist

rest of my list is elsewhere, but these are the folks I can think of I do NOT WISH TO DUPLICATE MAILING TO IF you bought/mailed out!??!@

thanks for your help! [group hug] [kiss]
