Im going through such serious frustration. Ive been diagnosed as having fibromyalgia since 03. I ended up talking to another patient in a waiting room and she suggested I look into Lyme.
I have since seen an Infectious Disease Dr over in NY. I went 2 weeks ago for my intial appt and then went back yesterday for the second visit. He said my blood results were negative therefore he feels I dont have Lyme. He did have me get a spect scan done yesterday but I dont know the results as of yet. Twice yesterday he asked if I was sure it wasnt depression and asked me that once on the first visit also. I told him I am sure its not depression and would depression cause me problems walking?? I am just so frustrated and dont know what to do. I ordered a blood test from IGX but who would take the blood in order to have the test done.
