first time on here & its a bittersweet relief to know im not alone.

got sick driving home from work one night in
june.vertigo, massive headache & chills came out
of nowhere.

my husband had to get me because i couldnt see
straight.so many symptoms followed w/in
days:

nausea, sensivity to light, brain fog, burning sensations across my back, hair loss,fevers,etc...

convinced my dr to put me on doxycycline though i tested neg for lyme.

felt good for 5 days when i finished the pills.
went on a 2nd round.stayed on 3rd round for a few days.felt so sick i thought it might be the antibiotics so i stopped.

more bloodwork 7 weeks after the last antibiotic and this time tested positive for lyme.dr said i had it at some point but the antibiotics knocked it out.

i dont believe this because im still sick.shes making me go get a cat scan of my sinuses because i feel so much pain & pressure in my head.we'll see.

i went to her today & got ceftin.maybe it'll work better.i also got paxil because im having panic attacks.

i never knew how bad lyme disease was until i got it.my heart goes out to all of you.
if anyone knows the name of a LLMD on long island, please let me know.
im in suffolk county.thankyou so much.
